The Last Post Game!!!!

Had a temporary job as a chemistry teacher at a Berlin school from early December 2018 to the end of this week (rather out of the blue of the "I know it is Thursday evening but could you start on Monday" kind). Rather long way there for being inside the city limits and the kids are a bit...difficult. But I see it as first hand experience and what we call a "stress test" over here. I am still a complete noob after all.
If I am lucky I can get another teaching position at another school (Latin only) for a whole year beginning in February (this time not for someone fallen ill but going into maternity leave).
No permanent position in sight at the moment but practical experience may increase my chances over time.
And it's within reasonable walking distance from the university (and most important its library).

Otherwise working on my book of classical antiquity parodies, in particular some illustrations which I may post here.

I would be envious of a heated environment to work in if I didn't spend my days off in even colder conditions throwing myself down the steepest possible mountainsides on small fragments of skis (110 cm long) with non-releasable bindings.

Unfortunately, someone else was chosen for the 1 year Latin position. Another school is looking for a temporary chemistry teacher but I have not much detail there yet (and not that much hope either to be honest).

Another illustration attached. The horses I stole from an existing vase and the Phaeton is a partially reworked Perseus.
As usual some jokes hidden in the inscriptions.

Unfortunately the original frame turned out to be a tiny bit too short but adding another repetition made it a good deal too long and the filling was done in a way not consistent with the existing pattern (tesserae of the filling spaced much closer than around the text).
