As far as I know the Giant Squid does not go around killing people.

Of course, it may depend on the length of the tenticles relative to the body.

There are several, if not many, where coitus kills the male of the species. I have no information on which tenticles get used, or for what purpose. One can only guess.

With bees the male appendage is stuck inside the queen and ripped off the drone's body in the end.
That kills the male but also prevents other males from copulation with the queen.

With octopuses (at least some) the female dies after her eggs hatch, other cephalopds don't wait as long.
Same with some spiders (mother becomes the first meal of her children).
