I know cerebrally that cats are 'evil' but emotionally I find them much more likable than most breeds of dogs (yeah, those felines know how to manipulate us). I like wolves and the few dogs that are close to them in appearance but also keep a safe distance.

I just saw two grocery vans breeding in my driveway. They both backed into the drive and then opened their fridge doors flat back across the vans. Then the outer one (female) drove up right next to the inner one (male) so the open fridge doors were abreast and formed like you would an airlock, and the male decanted bagfuls of grocery directly into the female through the opening. True story.

I refuse to have loyalty cards. I get points on my credit card which I can spend in certain shops, but that involves little effort on my part.

I prefer the system over here where the money is taken directly from the account when you pay with your EC card with no fees involved. I hate it to feed credit card companies.

To my knowledge there are no fees for using a debit card here (which I assume is the same thing you are referring to).

When I order from amazon.uk (or other UK companies) I have to use a credit card (my father's).

Debit cards here are also Visa and Mastercard so they are used like a credit card.
