Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.

Of course when kids grow up one has to offer a more appropriate guidance, such as: People, who indulge in sexual violence or perversions are emotionally sick; i.e. they most-likely suffered a cruel childhood, for a sane person never combines violence with sexuality and always respects the feelings of their partner.

Kiyoodle the Gambrinous

I wonder. What do you understand under the term "sexual violence and perversions"?

These two terms can have many meanings (sexual violence can be related to rape for example, but also a spanking to spice up once sex life... - a whip and handcuffs does not directly lead to being perverted IMO... also some people can relate to gay sex as perverted...) and I don't want to misunderstand you. :)

I think "always respects the feelings of their partner" sums it up well...  if both partners enjoy and consent to it, it's not 'perverted' IMO.

Maybe a little kinky... ;)

Wouldn't it be perverse for a sadist to refuse to torment the masochist?
"Beat me, beat me!", "No!"  ;)

Which revives the old debate what constitutes porn. I don't think the mere watching of (voluntary) nudes engaging in a certain kind of gymnastics is going to hurt anybody, provided there is no harmful extra message and it is taken care of that children also get info about the involved potential risks (that would be the parental guidance part). That doesn't mean the lil ones should be deliberately encouraged to search for this kind of "entertainment" but that the usual panic is often misplaced.
Violence is a completely different matter.

I am going on a limb an say that although curious, most children don't seek sex related media until their hormones start acting up. That would beg the question: is it OK to allow pre-teens or teens to watch said media? There is an array of uncomfortable subjects there, but how do you tell what is appropriate (if any) or what to do regarding such things (ie: finding that your teen kid has a stash of porn)?

If your kid has a stash of porn, you should be proud... That means that he's a healthy normal kid... ;D  I think that it is normal for a teen has some hidden porn and enjoys it. I'm not a teen anymore and I enjoy it from time to time... :P

A different thing would be, if your teen had a stash of white powder under his bed........

I didn't have a stash of porn, but I did have a stash of white powder.
It was the kind that you lit (pyrotechnical) , not the other way around. ;)

I guess you were a little different than the teens I've known (and been)...

All I had stashed was a bottle of  some hard liquor (one gets thirsty sometimes) as a teen. I didn't need to have stashed porn, as I knew, where my father had his stash of "interesting" movies and magazines... ;D

Heh, yes...  Santa always leaves Dad one fairly soft prawn mag in his stocking at Christmas, so I found those out. ;D
But we blew things up more than we drank.  I usually only drank at work when I was underage. ;)

We did both... Drinking and blowing things up... Sometimes these two were very connected (I still remember the little smoke bomb we mad. The whole block was covered in smoke...), it wasn't my fault that a friend of mine downloaded the Anarchist Cookbook from the internet... :)

Heh, did he do it on the school computers like my buddies did?  They got busted printing out the last 10 pages.....  :D

But it wasn't easy to get alcohol where I grew up; the nearest stores were 15 km away, and no moonshine.  Plus, alcohol & pyro is dangerous...   I still have all 11 of my fingers. ;)

It was easy to get booze where I grew up. I grew up in a town of two million people, basically, it was easy to get anything, if you knew the right people. (alcohol was no problem, they would sell booze to anyone who had the cash, same thing with cigarettes... it's the East, what can I say...)

My friend downloaded the Anarchist Cookbook at home, no problems there (like anybody would care at school... :) ). There's some very interesting reading in it. I still got a copy somewhere at home...

I wasn't really much into pyro, when I was a teen. Just the ususal firecrackers for New Year's Eve and a few exploded lighters...

There was some blowing up, but not too much... :)

Actually, I was kidding about that, but some of the people I went to school with OTOH...  (those Cherryville kids, some of them go to their Aunt's house for dinner and stay home. ;) )
