FDA Pet Food Recalls

What started as "only a few, don't worry about it" pet food recalls have become a continuing nightmare. I just spent 45 minutes trying to get onto the sunshine Mills site to see if Spencer's "breakfast" every day was on their new list. Not yet. The BIG bags of similar, the puppy size snacks in the same size bag...but so for' we're OK.

I am NOT a happy camper about this AT ALL. Of course, I'm still peeved as possible over the whole peanut butter recall. (and I need to send in the lids from the 2 jars of recalled PB that were still on my shelf, one of which is almost positively tainted, because the one time I ate any of it, I was sick for a week.)

I hate the fact that the USDA's funding for routine tests is continually being cut. Seems they don't test anywhere near as much of what's submitted as they used to. Thanks again, Preznit Bush!
