I have come across a strange web group called Quora. Does anyone know anything about it.

I've been looking at their terms and privacy and it is the usual US stuff that boggles the brain so you can't remember any of it, quite less understand it, or why they find it necessary to say it.

If I wasn't nervous about joining, I certainly am now.

I do note, you have to use your real name and that is what gets displayed. I have never done this and find it unacceptable.

Any info?

Seems to ring a faint bell somewhere in the back of my brain...

Signing up with your real name is de rigueur these days; one of the many reasons I hate the modern web.

I join this type of web site using a pseudonym that sounds like a real name. I don't see how they can work out it's a false name.
