the problem may well be that I logged in the WrONg side - ie Unwrapped... ie it's my old unwrapped habits at fault - as it is not only the email button that is missing.... it is of course the whole user menu -

Edit - yes login wrapped includes it. As I said, bad habits. Still it would nice to have it on the unwrapped page too. I'll think about that.

The forum is a separate program.  If you hit the site from toadfishmonastery.com/forum you are unwrapped and the Joomla login doesn't work properly.  If you login from http://toadfishmonastery.com/index.php?option=com_smf... then you are wrapped and the Joomla login works properly.

I second the notion to put http://webmail.toadfishmonastery.com/src/login.php as a button at the top, maybe under "Sibling Things"
