Absolutely. Personally I don't give a crap. I think it's in the nature of liberals not to force our opinions on others but it does make one look weak to non-liberals, if that makes any sense.

The argument is that taking the moral high road the people in the middle will be more inclined to look that way.

In reality, the people at the other side of the issue will rather have an hypocrite moving their agenda because they are hypocrites themselves (listening the morning news the comments from the religious 'righteous' were of support for her and how her daughter had trust in the family, etc, etc, bs, bs).

Politics stinks because people continue to fight nasty. I don't give a carp about Mrs. Palin's pregnant daughter. She's just a kid. (By the way, I hear the father will marry her, so the child will not be a bastard- but all that's just politics, too.)

I'm sad that some people percieve the most obnoxious people as the strongest. I believe that truly obnoxious people are hiding something horribly personal behind their huje stench cloud.
