Pets seemed the closest category !  At this stage I do feel as if I am anticipating a new pet 

As April 1st closes in (5 weeks and counting), I am losing my grip.

I am going goooooey already, a thing I have never experienced before.

I found myself wallowing (online) in toys that play Brahms' Lullaby today and clicking the links to here the tune over and over.

grandmums are supposed to be all gooey and stuff--- gooey granmums is what makes children grow best! Even better than a pet is this child that is truly going to adore you--- it's a new relationship and YOU make it all it's own -- just you and the new person.

I keep wondering who this new person is going to be.

That is about the only feeling I can identify with those I had waiting for my own children's birth each time.

I really like this aspect of it. It's not just a baby, but will occupy some slot in the future adult world, that we can not even dream of now.

OK. Back to pets now. Baby as pet is more gooey !  I need goo in my life at thsi time.
