I would recommend Coventry for any further nuclear tests. Anything done to it would count as improvement, even turning it to an unusable, unsafe radiological wasteland. Where's Judge Dredd when you need him....

OI! I was born in coventry!!!

(fortunately my parents had the good sense to move when i was 4)

you are right. I also nominate Coventry as nuclear test site, nuclear waste dump, UK landfill site etc of choice.

i am all for the nuclear test theory. If I wanted to do one I would choose lincolnshire.

it is very flat, boring, only inhabited by cabbages, yokels and rape (the plant)
Irradiated cabbages, where can you use...? the space station! What a way kill 2 (3? many?) birds with one (fissile material) stone.

Not my LOLcat, but timely. (Hope it works, or can be fixed by someone with functioning brains.)

I am presuming that Zono is paving the way for E.Raser Day on Friday.

I put it through Babel and got:

Irradiated cabbages!  Where can they be used...?  Aha, at the space station!  What a way to kill two, perhaps three, or even many, birds with one stone made of fissile material.

I do prefer the un-Babeled version. It had more impact. Just as does E.Raser.

I fear we must assume Beagle has been killed outright by falling Cambridge gargoyles. It is frightfully close to Lincolnshire.

A gargoyle kill Beagle? I doubt it.

Glad you set are ok. :) I'd be awful sad if my Brit sibs were harmed.

I've had tremors here (I live between a volcanic area and a fault), but no real Quakes. Thanks for the link to the non-FEMA site.

Think again; it would be a serious breach of etiquette for one Cambridge gargoyle to kill another.

Anywhere (homeowners insurance, The Generally Accepted Deity) that you can put in a claim stating that the earthquake killed the heating system?

Nice idea, but don't think I dare risk it with my insurance company. They'd probably counter-claim that my pump caused the earthquake, and I'd end up as happy as a Loyd's Name in hurricane season.

What's so bad about Coventry? I have seen worse places*. Or did it go extremly down since the 80ies?
