Er....
HAPPY DAIRY GOAT DAY!!!!! :balloon: :balloon: :balloon:

I feel a limerick coming on!!!
Life is tough for a goat on patrol
knocking down the occasional troll
but no need for dismay
for it's Dairy Goat day
On the whole it is good for the soul
There was a young fella called Goat,
who could pour a whole pint down his throat.
His ears they were sagging,
from excessive shagging,
so he hid them inside his fur coat.
:goatflag:
Before the BBC 606 football* forum was wrecked by that august body I used to post all the days football news for League 1 in limericks. I may have to increase my general limerick output here.
* yeah yeah blah blah soccer* blah blah whatever
* ditto
*It gets on my goat! It's a shocker!
That americans think its called soccer
Those who made up the game
should decide on the name
If you argue it's Davy Jones Locker!
Poetry seems the mode of the day. I just posted this in the chantbox:
O Dairy Goats
with their silken coats
and their gifts of milk and cheese
With their horns so curly
and nature so surly
Thank you, O goats
and please!
Y'know, if we get our actual monastery, I would love to raise dairy goats there and have a cottage industry of cheese production, so this is a very appropriate holiday for the monastery.
I shall certainly stop and wish the goats in the pasture on the way to Moms a Happy Dairy Goat Day!
Heheh...there was a party by the goat barns at the Ag Department Farms at A&M today...I could tell by the balloons and stuff. I wouldn't be suprised if they'd had a Dairy Goat Party!! (They've got some beatiful stock...and healthy, too, being next door to the Vet Med School.)
Now I cant wait for.......
National Dairy Goat Week!!! By Presidential Proclomation (http://www.reagan.utexas.edu/archives/speeches/1988/061788b.htm)!

Don't get me wrong, I love beef. I just like a wide variety of tasty, innocent creatures. At least I don't play with them before I eat them like my cat does! ;D
not only do you want to eat me but now you are refusing to play with me as well! how mean ;)
Is it okay if I just torture my tofu a while before i eat it? ::)
I'm meanest to my vegetables. I don't even kill them first - I eat them ALIVE!!!
I can still hear the screams
As long as they don't bite back...
Don't say that or you may make our dear goat faint:

umbrellas do that to me every time! give me a troll and all fainting reflex goes out of the window though >:(
fainting is particularly bad when I am in a tree (http://www.the-tree.org.uk/SpecialBranch/InTree/goats.htm)
OH, dear, a tree full of goats!!
How do you tell when the goats are ripe enough to pick?
By smell?
;D
