Title: UK Topic - NHS
Post by: Griffin NoName on April 15, 2011, 01:52:25 AM
Andrew Lansley MP is out to ruin the NHS (IMO). Is there any chance the "listening process" could ever result in significant changes to the dud bill?

I don't understand how GPs will have time to do all the decision making, meetings, studying of bugets and tenders when it currrecntly takes many staff at PCTs. How can GP's absorb all that and still have any time to be doctors attending patients. I am puzzled that no one seems to be questioning this. If PCTs aren't needed, what have they been doining all these years? If I was a GP I would not want any more admin than the piles of it they have already. I want a law that says doctors can only treat patients and not other tasks. I wamt my GP spending her time on treating me not swanning off to meetings and being unavaiable..
