Title: Marmite vision.
Post by: Sibling DavidH on March 09, 2010, 01:23:02 PM
Does this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/8071865.stm) look like Jesus?
IMO well maybe a little bit, but not for the stated reasons!
Non UK siblings may not be aware of the true horrors of the foul substance Marmite.

Looks like a bandito with that moustache, to me.

I have a jar of Marmite in the fridge - it's a poor substitute for Vegemite IMHO, but I use the latter for cooking, not toast-spread.

Is Canada generally infected with the Marmite, or did you learn of it in more benighted lands and have it smuggled in by evil peddlers?

A distant relation of Vlad Tepes?

Vegemite I learned of as a secret ingredient in Aussie steak sauce from a cook on a tall ship in the Whitsundays; both are available on the shelf here, although I won't discount the involvement of evil peddlers. ;)

Clearly this is an apparition of Captain Hook. I believe the Marmite is telling us all to become Hookers. Stupid Marmite!

What is Marmite made from? Marmosets and termites?

It's made from yeast.

I imagine that page is one of the ones the BBC will be removing in their cost cutting exercise.

Quote from: SwatoA distant relation of Vlad Tepes?

There is a certain resemblance, it's true.

Maybe Vlad was indeed evil enough to have a connection with Marmite.

Hook is indeed a reincarnation of Vlad; so much is clear.  The influence of the dread Marmite is everywhere.

I thought of Captain Hook too, but Vlat Tepes also fits the bill, but those could be two people, one upside down in a handshake. It could be so many things...

Yes, I can see two mildly portly gentlemen in suits in a Pisces-like configuration. Do you think the cosmos is suggesting a new horoscope sign?

There is also possibly a Mayan (with a Zorro mask?) looking at a crescent moon

Obesi  the fatties.  I'd come under that sign, no question.  ;D

I don't think so - the dreaded Marmite is not Mayannaise.

Today's Horoscope for Obesi (the fatties):
Let it all hang out, but if you find things hard to swallow, don't bite off more than you can chew. Twinkes (the snack cake) figures prominently.
