A dangerous sight for the prosperity (hey! if god thought I was bad I wouldn't have all this money!) gospel guys.

Now I wonder what would Faux news would do with the guy.

I met a Pilgrim many years ago.
I was driving from Stockholm to my old home town in pouring rain and saw this old man in a brown robe soaked to the bone.
Being oblivious as I sometimes can be I didn't realised this man was on a pilgrimage despite the staff in his hand, but offered him a ride to the nearest town. He politely declined and correctly stated that "You are not a Catholic, yes?" in French broken English. We spoke for a little while, I offered him an umbrella but he declined that too, however if I had and apple to spare he would be most thankful...

As I had been in the grocery shop I had a bag sitting in the back-seat. He got a couple of apples and a roll of bread and then we went our separate ways.
I later recognise his robe as a Franciscan order robe.
I wonder what happened to him and do hope his faith protected him from pneumonia.
