Thank you for this link. I heard about this last night on the news. I think I'll do it. It would be a nice night to light up the old fireplace. (Is that allowed?)
you must read the list of 'what to do we have lots of ideas' part, just scroll. Lighting a wood fire will be nice I think-- for most of human history that is what we did when it got dark-- good time to be in touch with family and our past.

it won't reverse global warming-but every little bit helps-kilowatt by kilowatt. for example when I come into work every day I turn half the lights off-- we have a million lights in dispatch and even with only half on we have plenty.
