It isn't that martians don't want us to find them.

It's creationists that don't want us to find life (fossil or otherwise) in any other planet than earth.

Seriously though, isn't it funny that every time someone makes a claim (like the Mars meteorite) very quickly someone shows up saying that potential life on Mars is just an hypothesis?
