Sorry people but this is Another Microsfitz Hiss.....

Anyone who has followed my Vistaaaaaaaaaaargh!  thread  will know that my email files got arbitrary email's dates corrupted with the current date --------------   a bug. A very silly bug too.

I just ranted about it to MS on their forum earlier on. Along with some other poor frantic soul.

Now, later on, I had to send an urgent email. So was rooting around in the files and the mail program.

SHOCK HORROR GASP   All the email dates and file dates are correct.

HOW CAN THIS BE??



ok i assume it is a "display" bug, rather than a "bits and bytes changed" bug but but but but but but but WHAT A WASTE OF TIME perhaps Vista needs running in DOS mode

That probably means that it's a display bug and whatever triggered the 'new' dates the last time wasn't active now. Still a but though.
