Caught the first two episodes of "Pie in the Sky" yesterday. Hooked instantly. Richard Griffiths is so likable.

Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

It has taken us nine months to gestate what on earth Smart TV does, but suddenly we have figured it out and have watched "Rhinocerous" starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder  and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" in their entirety for free on YouTube over the past two evenings.

Wow! I hope that plays here. I'd love to see it.

Yesterday evening:
Die andere Seite (1931)
A German WW1 movie based on an English stage play. A dugout, two short stretches of trench and a foxhole/MG post that's all (and most time is spent in the dugout. The lead is played masterfully by Conrad Veidt. This is not about action but the interplay of the characters that await the German 1918 offensive that is just around the corner. Excellent cast, the sets could not be better today and the script is intelligent. Why has that not been available on DVD for years?

OK, the answer to the latter is easy: a German film, emphasis on character not action, no girls and no superobvious villain (apart from the faceless upper command that wants intelligence before dinner and thus orders suicidal daylight raids of the opposite trenches). No real market in that.

At least it has a wiki entry
