I somehow have the suspicion that these snakes have either been milked or even totally defanged.
Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

I don't see why:  cobras cannot strike beyond their height-- that is, a cobra rears up, then 'falls' forward to strike-- his reach is no longer than how high he can rear-up.

I did not see any within striking distance of the worker, nor did I see any actually strike at him.

Actually some of them are in strike distance and one even makes a mild warning. The guy always moves them by the tail and very quickly, and if the snakes aren't defanged he is taking a risk.

Curious that the guy looks from SE Asia but the voice of the woman (likely) holding the camera sounds Russian. Tourists in Thailand/Philippines/neighboring countries?
