Sibling Chatty

Hi there!

We like new people. It gives the squidllings a new target... ;)

Maybe I can get my shoes back now. They've been using them for boats in their moat races. If they get too insistent, or follow you around too much, just tell Swatopluk and he'll increase their choir practice to give you a break.

The squiddies are mostly harmless.

Mostly...

Hello there.
I was told about this site from a gentleman (I think it was a man at least) on the FSM forums.
I am sure you will get to know me in time.
Peace, my friends.

Hi Metta!

My sister's name was Meta (as was my grandmother's) and I'm always pleased to see some version of the name still in use. It's probably more common where you live than it is here in Texas.

Welcome to the forum, and enjoy! we, like the squiddies, are mostly harmless.

Welcome Nemain and Aagfed. You might want to wipe your feet after you've gone near the pirates as well. We love them dearly, but they do tend to track bilgewater.

Welcome to both of you.
I've noted your sensible presences at Venganza, and am pleased to see you here where they will be appreciated.  :P

Gassho.
Thank you for the kind words, and the explanation of "Gassho" and "Metta."  Sorry to disappoint you, SC.  My name is actually Ellery (which is also unusual), but I go by Aagfed most of the time.
Venganza is...interesting.  They have some interesting characters over there, who are mostly mods & admins, which makes it fun!
Thank you all for the welcomes.  I hope I can add something tangible here.

Welcome, welcome indeed.

And a belated welcome to those new sibs I hadn't got around to reading about-- seems like I don't frequent this thread as oft as I ought.

Trouble is, there's too many things I "ought" and not enough things I'd "like" to be doing.... :)
Sometimes, the real journey can only be taken by making a mistake.

my webpage-- alas, Cox deleted it--dead link... oh well ::)
