The Lord of R'lyeh
OT:Bonnie Dundee

1.
To the Deep One convention did Cthulhu speak
"The stars are all wrong and I start growing weak
So go back to your cities and keep up our way
And worship Cthulhu the Lord of R'lyeh"

Refr.
Oh dig me a grave, oh build me tomb
Where I can lie safe and plot mankind's Doom
To Old Ones the fun, to mankind dismay
All hail Great Cthulhu the Lord of R'lyeh

2.
Cthulhu is ready, he stands by the door
The Deep Ones are chanting, a horrible choir
But Elder Things party and cry loud "Hooray!
This planet's well rid of that Fiend from R'lyeh"

3.
There are hills beyond Dunwich and swamps in the South
The coast may be Christian, the backwoods are ours
There degenerates worship that shun light of day
"Wgah'nagl fhtagn, oh Lord of R'lyeh"

4.
Though down in the crypt I now sleep oozing slime
I've set my alarm clock to wake up on time
Oh tremble, weak Man, for quite near is the day
You will see the return of the Lord of R'lyeh

The Cultist Boat Song
OT:The Skye Boat Song
T:Sir Harold Boulton (1870ies)
M:Annie MacLeod from traditional tune

Refr.
Speed, swift Alert, like a bat on the wing
Onward! the cultists cry
Carry us there where's reborn the Thing
That once came from the sky

1.
Like demons foul, loud the winds howl
Thunderclaps rend the air
Soon we will reach R'lyeh's dark beach
Follow us, if you dare

Refr.

2.
Still the waves leap, where he does sleep
But from the ocean's floor
Rises R'lyeh, near is the day
Open will stand the door

Refr.

3.
Cultists did wait long for this date
When he would come again
Sealed is man's fate, for full of hate
He will renew his reign

Refr.

4.
Burn will all homes, madness and death
Seize all non-cultist folk
Ev'rything falls, higher or less
Under Cthulhu's yoke

Refr.

Victim, I'll rip you
OT: Alouette

I'll rip out your beating heart
Beating heart, beating heart
Rip apart, rip apart,
Iääääää!

2.
Oh my victim, oh my helpless victim
Oh my victim, I'll rip you apart
I'll rip out your talking tongue
I'll rip out your talking tongue
Talking tongue, talking tongue
Beating heart, beating heart
Rip apart, rip apart

Did not this beast...?
OT:Jerusalem
T:William Blake(~1804)
M: Charles H.H.Parry(1916)

Did not this beast long eons ago
Come to the Earth from far away?
And did not this most loathsome foe
Built here the city of R'lyeh?
And though the movement of the stars
Has interrupted his dark reign
He will break soon the prison bars
Our wait will not have been in vain

Bring me my drum, my shrieking flutes
That is the music I desire
Put on the altar helpless rubes
And light the sacrificial fire
I will perform the obscene rites
Of victims' blood be wet my hand
Till is reborn/returned Cthulhu great
To bring man's rule to/an dismal end

My little (slimy) shoggoth
OT: mein kleiner grüner Kaktus
T:Hans Herda
M:Bert Reisfeld, Albrecht Marcuse

1.
Ghouls in the attic, some get ecstatic
"I got some werewolf cubs for solstice!"
I don't need foul things or constant howling
Those are some pets I really don't miss
I have a little shoggoth, I keep it in the pool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
What do I need a werewolf? What do I need a ghoul?
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
If someone is so base, speaks/throws insults to/in my face
Then I call up my shoggoth and it slays, slays, slays
I have a little shoggoth, I keep it in the pool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu

2.
But that new neighbour that moved in next door
He hates my protoplasmic bubble
A loathsome pagan and priest of Dagon
I can predict he will make trouble
About that little shoggoth that I keep in the pool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
He is in league with Deep Ones and is their willing tool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
His name is Ephraim Waite whose daughter I would date
If I was not aware of her late husband's fate
But I'll stay by my shoggoth that I keep in the pool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu

3.
One Sunday morning I hear the door ring
"Who could that be this early hour?"
It was my neighbour wielding a sabre
And his expression very sour
"It is about your shoggoth that you keep in the pool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
It broke into my garden you insolent young fool
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu
It ate the dog of mine. Without the Elder sign
It would have made advances I could not decline
Next time I'll take that shoggoth and wash it down the loo
Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu"

Oh Powerful Monster(s)
OT:(The) Flower of Scotland
T/M:Roy Williamson (of The Corries)
One of the inofficial Scottish national anthems

1.
Oh powerful monster
When will we see
You rise again
Up from the ocean
To end the reign of man
We'll stand beside you
Oh great Cthulhu
To bring these upstarts
Torment and pain

2.
The hills are bare now
The gates are closed
For Outer Gods
But all is not lost yet
The seals do barely hold
We'll stand beside you
Oh great Yog-sothoth
And purge this planet
Of humankind

3.
Man's days are past now
As in the past
Old Ones will reign
Oh yes they will rise now
To rule this planet again
We'll stand beside them
The Lords of Chaos
And fill the whole world
With death and pain

4.
Oh powerful beings
We soon will see
You rise again
Renew the terror
Throughout the world of man
We'll stand beside you
The Lovecraft monsters
Until we also
Will go insane

I worship thee, Cthulhu
OT: St.Petersburg/Ich bete an die Macht der Liebe
T:Gerhard Tersteegen (18th century)
M:Dmitri Bortniansky (1822)

A me laudatus vetus Cthulhus
Qui adhuc dormit R'lyeha
Mortales tibi immolo munus
Haemorrhagia aeterna
Resurgas mox relinquasque mare
Resurgas mox oh monstrum immane

I bete an Cthulhu den Alten

I worship thee oh ancient Cthulhu
Who in R'lyeh is sleeping now
I slay these mortals in tribute to you
Of blood a stream forever shall flow
Oh rise up soon, rise up from the swell
Abandon the sea oh monster so terrible

I am the Lord of R'lyeh
OT:Lord of the Dance
T:Sydney Carter(1963)
M:Shaker Tune (19th century)

1.
I came to this planet ere man's world had begun
I turned day to night, my wings darkened the sun
I came from the great void to conquer the Earth
At dark R'lyeh I built my hearth

Refr.
Dance, chant and beat the drums for me
I am the Lord of R'lyeh said he
And I'll slay you all wherever you may be
And I'll fill you all with insanity

2.
I made this planet my dark domain
And who stood against me was inevitably slain
The Deep Ones adored my and the Mi-Go
They paid me homage for it pleased me so

3.
I ruled with great terror and I founded a cult
With rites so obscene, de Sade would be appalled
They dance in the darkness, bathe in victims' blood
That is the proper way for I am their god

4.
I looked up to heaven, saw pale stars on black
Their message was so dire like a millstone round the neck:
Go bury your body and sleep eons long
Your city will sink but the world will go on

5.
That is not dead which can eternal lie
But with strange eons even death may die
I will return when the stars are right
And then once more there'll be endless night

We worship Great Cthulhu
OT:Deep in the heart of Texas

In Greenland's snow to you we bow
We worship Great Cthulhu!
In Southern bog to neighbours' shock
(In Southern swamp we howl and stomp)
We worship Great Cthulhu!
On Leng plateau where few dare go
We worship Great Cthulhu!
On backwood hill much blood we spill
We worship Great Cthulhu!

Oh reptiloid from the Great Void
We worship Great Cthulhu!
Lord of R'lyeh with you we stay
We worship Great Cthulhu!
Oh monstrous Thing you are our king
We worship Great Cthulhu!
Oh loathsome beast for you we feast
(alt: come join our feast)
We worship Great Cthulhu!

Down in your tomb you plot world's doom
We worship Great Cthulhu!
When stars are right you'll rise with might
We worship Great Cthulhu!
When you return man's world will burn
We worship Great Cthulhu!
We know your rise means man's demise
We worship Great Cthulhu!

Ten Loathsome Cultist Men
OT: Ten little Indians
T/M: traditional nursery rhyme

Ten loathsome cultist men
Went to Dagon's shrine
There one was sacrificed
And then there were nine

Nine loathsome cultist men
Opened up the gate
One was caught by Yog-sothoth
And then there were eight

Eight loathsome cultist men
Searched the outer heaven
One caught sight of Azathoth
And then there were seven

Seven loathsome cultist men
Offered only chicks
Demons preferred human flesh
And then there were six

Six loathsome cultist men
Were looking out for wifes
One got himself a Deep One though
And then there were five

Five loathsome cultist men
Met a Delapore
One was eaten by the rats
And then there were four

Four loathsome cultist men
Rode some bayakee
One was carried out to space
And then there were three

Three loathsome cultist men
Went to see Cthulhu
One could not flee fast enough
And then there were two

Two loathsome cultist men
Made of Mi-Go fun
One got canned his brain for that
And then there was one

The last loathsome cultist man
Found all victims gone
Had to sacrifice himself
And then there was none

Alternative last stanza:

The surviving cultist man
Talked to HPL
That was treason and therefore
He/They was/were sent to hell

What shall we do with the loathsome idol?
OT:What shall we do with the drunken sailor?

1.
What shall we do with the loathsome idol (3x)
At our cultist meeting?
Iä, Iä Cthulhu (3x)
Lord of sunken R'lyeh

2. Put it there in the ring of fire
3. What shall we do with the ring of fire?
4. Dance all around it in the nu-udd
5. What kind of music should we be playing?
6. Get out the drums and the shrieking flu-utes
7. I see a stranger that should not be here
8. That is a spy from the swamp patro-ol
9. What shall we do with that nosy spy-y?
10. Put him next to the helpless victims
11. What shall we do with the helpless victims?
12. Now is the time for the disembow'ling
13. What shall we do while we do the slaughter?
14. Howl that old verse from the ancient lo-ore
15. What is that noise I hear from the forest?
16. Help us, Cthulhu, we are surrounded
17. It's the police and Monsieur LeGra-asse
18. You may have sacked us but all's not over

19.
Soon the Great Old One will rise aga-ain (3x)
When the stars are ri-ight
Iä....

20.
The he will wipe out the human ra-ace (3x)
When the stars are ri-ight
Iä....

21.
He will return and He'll rule forever (3x)
Now the song is over
Iä....
Now our song is over

The dormant Monster
OT: El Condor pasa

Cthulhu he lies dormant in the deep
Fast asleep
But he sends out his dream
And those who sense it scream
The stars are moving strangely in the night
Once they're right
He will arise once more
So tells the ancient lore

We cultists all call out to you
Oh do return, Great Cthulhu!
We know you are the great Star-Spawn
That came to Earth before man's dawn
Rule us anew

The time has come, our ship is setting sail
To R'lyeh
The Alert's course is clear
Soon He will reappear
We will succeed and reach the island's shore
Where the door
Is to Cthulhu's tomb
We will unleash/set free man's doom

We cultists will call out to you
You have returned, Great Cthulhu
We praise you monster from the void
Now our world will be destroyed
And we'll be too

When Stars Are Right
OT: As time goes by
T/M: Herman Hupfeld(1931)

You will just tremble, dear
From fear beyond all fear
From fright beyond all fright
The fundaments will go awry
When stars are right

And when you wade through goo
To meet Great Cthulhu
The future looks/is not bright
Destruction's what the Old One brings
When stars are right

Darkness and horror
Never will abate
Fill with aggression
Insanity and hate
Monster eats man
So man will meet his fate
And noone will survive

It's quite a sad, cold story
A feast of hate, quite gory
A case of "We'll all die!"
The world again all ruled by monsters
When stars are right

Alas, the world again all ruled by monsters
When stars are right

If you stay in Arkham...
OT: Loch Lomond
T/M: Scottish Traditional

1.
You'll wither away as humans decay
Ignoring advice given to you
If you do not come to join the Great Old One
And worship with me Great Cthulhu

Chorus:
If you stay in Arkham while I go to R'lyeh
I'll see Great Cthulhu before me
And I'll be a Deep One but you just human scum
That he'll wipe from the Earth without mercy

2.
I dabbled in hist'ry of New England's coast
I went down to Innsmouth for studies
There I took a room at the hotel "Gilman House"
Unprepared for events to turn bloody

3.
I met with a drunkard, he told me some lore
Of Deep Ones that live in the ocean
Of unholy dealings, I pressed him to say more
But he spied out at sea a commotion

4.
He jumped up in panic and fled from my side
But he would not escape Old Marsh's vengeance
The next and last I saw of him it was his bloody hide
Not a sight apt to ease nervous tensions

5.
I fled from the hotel when they came in the night
Oh that horrible smell and the  yelling
At last I did faint though when the Deep Ones came in sight
They passed me or there would be no telling

6.
I regained my senses and fled fast away
I told the police what I saw there
It all sounded insane but they without delay
Took the steps to wipe out that foul nightmare

7.
They raided the city and they showed no pity
Devil's Reef it was bombed with torpedoes
But Y'ha-nthlei lies too deep and got away
It's not easy to get rid of Deep Ones

8.
But I went around and this is what I found
Our clan to Old Marsh is related
Alas! our pedigree it is clearly not fish-free
As our Innsmouth Look so clearly stated

9.
And now my dear nephew, you're given a choice
Remember it's now or it's never
In the madhouse you will die, if you don't heed my voice
Or you can live as a Deep One forever

Chorus
Oh don't stay in Arkham but come to R'lyeh
To meet there the Great Old Cthulhu
For you to are a Deep One and not just human scum
Take the hand that your kind extends to you

#66
Insanity
OT: Liberty
T:George Weir
M: Roy Williamson
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=DBNgi2XYQMw

1.
By the things that haunt this place
By the Deep and Elder race
By the God that came from space
We spread insanity
Let the ghouls from graveyards creep
Call the monsters from the deep
Wake Cthulhu from his sleep
To spread insanity

2.
By the book Alhazred wrote
By Shub-Niggurath the goat
By the king in yellow cloaked
We spread insanity
From the ice call Rhan-Tegoth
From the void call Azathoth
From beyond call Yog-Sothoth
To spread insanity

3.
By the idol on the stone
By the victims' splintered bone
By Cthulhu on his throne
We spread insanity
Call the drum the time to beat
Call the fife and flute to shriek
Let the victims wail and weep
To spread insanity

4.
By the sky that once was black
By the seal that's going to break
By the Old Ones that come back
We spread insanity
Curse Cthulhu and his spawn
Curse the Doomsday's fiery dawn
Curse the cult that acts as pawn
And spreads insanity

Bayou Country
OT: The Haughs o' Cromdale
T/M: Scottish traditional
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=n24v5_sOx0Q

1.
I left the ship at Caillou Bay
And followed voices that did say
That I shoud go without delay
Deep into bayou country
I met a man of mongrel breed
A fellow cultist? Yes indeed!
He told me that we all should meet
Deep in the bayou country

2.
We were at worship ev'ry man
When John Legrasse upon us came
A bloody struggle then began
Deep in the bayou country
The police dogs they were so rude
Their mouthes red with cultist blood
But our brave cultists boldly stood
Deep in the bayou country

3.
But alas! we could no longer stay
And through the swamp we got away
Oh how did we lament the day
We came to bayou country
Thus the Old Man Marsh did say
"Cultist man, show me the way
We will make those police thugs pay
That came to bayou country"

4.
They were still grilling captured men
When Old Man Marsh upon them came
A second struggle then began
Deep in the bayou country
Ephraim Waite was quite relieved
When Old Man Marsh he did perceive
Then he fought most fearsomely
Deep in the bayou country

5.
We freed old Castro from his bands
He did rejoin the cultist ranks
And John Legrasse died by his hand
Deep in the bayou country
From Mountain Top Daniel Morrís
He petrified the swamp police
The struggle it was clearly fierce
Deep in the bayou country

6.
The Delapores let loose their rats
A shoggoth ripped the dogs to shreds
A true disaster for the Feds
Deep in the bayou country
Of thirty dozen police men
Just thirteen fled to New Orleans
The rest of them they all lay slain
Deep in the bayou country

Of thirty dozen police men
Just thirteen fled to New Orleans
The rest of them they all lay slain
Deep in the bayou country

Note: The song has as shaky a relationship with the events in The Call of Cthuhu as the original song has with the reality of the Jacobite wars and the Battle of Cromdale. There was no second struggle in the bayou and except for old Castro and inspector Legrasse none of the named persons took part in any related event.

Kill me now
OT: Tell me now
T/M: Moya Brennan/Hans Zimmer 2004
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=Ui9GfsezhU4

Often now
I feel a shadow
Haunt my dreams
A wild mind is stirring
Slimy things in the dark
Terror fills my heart

Kill me now! Set me free!
Help me keep my sanity*
Now I'm here
Kill me
Kill me now
Cause you know
Never it will let me go*
Kill me now! Set me free!

Who calls? My blood chills
The mist creeps from that door
Our doom is its/his promise
I remember that call
It will haunt us all

Kill me now
Cause you know
Never it will let me go
Kill me
Set me free
Kill me now! Set me free!

Kill me now
Don't you feel
Now He's here
Kill me
Kill me now
Cause you know
Never it will let me go
Kill me now! Set me free!

*Note: Line has an overcount of 2 syllables. In the original recording those two syllables are effectively added to the text by the background voice (also Brennan), while the main voice fades with the last syllable (more in the second refrain than in the first):
1. Tell me what you feeeeeeeeeeel
2.          Tell me what you feeeel
=> Tell me what you what you feel
1. Never let me goooooooooo
2.           never   let me goooo
=> Never let me let me go

Cultist Cruise
OT: The Reiver's Galley
T/M: Roy Williamson
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=gQb3XsED84M

1.
Sails she swiftly from the harbour
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
As a shantak before the stormwind
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Good ship Alert (is) going southward
Steams she swiftly for R'lyeh's shore
To isles of scaring and insane laughter
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.

2.
Through the turmoil she lays her coursing
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Far beneath her the Earth is shaking
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Ancient R'lyeh is arising
Our old master he'll wake from sleep
Endless eons we have been waiting
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.

3.
Pressing forward through flash's of lightning
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Form sunlit islands into the darkness
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Helpless victims her hold is full of
Souls and bodies for hungry Him
Take these off'rings as advance payment
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.

4.
Now the cultist weaves his story
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Hails the prospects of times all gory
Great Cthulhu, we come to thee.
Great Cthulhu is awake now
Sleeping no more in his tomb
He dreams no longer. His wings unfolding
Great Cthulhu, you have returned.

In the woods or in a mine shaft
There'll be no place in the world left when he comes

Iä Cthulhu
OT: Die Biene Maja
M: Karel Svoboda (1977?)
T: Florian Cusano
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg3o-D5IRMw
http://www.ingeb.org/Lieder/ineinemu.html

1.
In einem kalten finstren Grab
Seit unvordenklich langer Zeit
Ein Monster liegt in tiefem Schlaf
Mit Träumen voller Grausamkeit

Refr.

2.
Wenn schließlich kommt die Schicksalsnacht
Und Sterne recht am Himmel stehn
Wird Menschheits Zeit zu Ende gehn
Weil jenes Monster dann erwacht.

Refr.

Iä, wgah'nagl, Iä
Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä, Cthulhu fhtagn

1.
In a dark tomb down in the deep
Since long before the dawn of man
There lies a monster fast asleep
And dreams of ruling once again

Refr.
And this old monster that I mean is named Cthulhu
Great Old One and horrible Cthulhu
When/if he rises, all the world
Into darkness will be hurled
We wish you undisturbed eternal rest, Cthulhu
Sleep thee well, oh Great Old One Cthulhu
Iä, wgah'nagl, Iä
Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä, Cthulhu fhtagn

2.
When fateful night will come at last
And stars are right up in the sky
The monster wakes and we must die
And mankind's rule it will be past

Refr.

Iä, wgah'nagl, Iä
Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä (Chorus: Iä), Iä, Cthulhu fhtagn

Pronounciation:

Iä = iii-aaa
wgahnagl = wa-ga-na-gel
fhtagn = fa-ta-gen
Cthulhu = Ka-thoo-loo (oo as in 'food')

Originally this is the German title song of the (Japanese) animated TV series Die Biene Maja based on the book Die Biene Maja und ihre Abenteuer (The Adventures of Maja the Bee) by Waldemar Bonsels (1912). The cultural impact is comparable to that of Bambi (based on the 1923 novella by Felix Salten). The song as performed by Karel Gott is hugely popular in Germany.

R'lyeh the Dark
OT: Scotland the Brave
T/M: traditional
One of three inofficial Scottish national anthems
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=iHSvAmPlTRI
http://www.ingeb.org/songs/harkwhen.html

1.
Iä, the Earth is quaking
In its foundations shaking
Something must be just waking
Up from long sleep
Something by most forgotten
Something vile, foul and rotten
Rises all of a sudden
Up from the deep

Place where the Deep Ones dwell
R'lyeh below the swell
Where Great Cthulhu
Lies dormant in his grave
Hideout of ancient powers
Home of the soul devourers
With cyclopean towers
Under the wave

2.
Thou art my heart's desire
Cultists, come light the fire
And praise in gruesome quire
R'lyeh the old
Once only known in story
You'll rise to former glory
For now comes the time
That has long been foretold

Place where the Deep Ones dwell
R'lyeh below the swell
Soon Great Cthulhu
Will wake up from his sleep
Hideout of ancient powers
Home of the soul devourers
With cyclopean towers
Down in the deep

3.
Come on, ye true believer
Filled with an ardent fever
Be witness, go and see her
Break through the swell
We will be there our master
Why can't this boat go faster
To our appointment
In the city from Hell?

Place where the Deep Ones dwell
R'lyeh below the swell
Now Great Cthulhu
Will rule the world once more/again
Hideout of ancient powers
Home of the soul devourers
With cyclopean towers
Free flows the gore/Doom's dreadful den

Star-Spawn from the sky
OT: Don Alfonso hoch zu Roß
M: Heinz Lemmermann
T: Johannes Holzmeister
(not the Mike Oldfield song)
http://www.ingeb.org/Lieder/donalfon.html

1.
When the Star-Spawn came to Earth
Oh Cthulhu
To make here its home and hearth
Oh Cthulhu
It began without delay
Oh Cthulhu
To look out whom it could slay
Oh Cthulhu

Refr.
Oh, Cthulhu! Oh Cthulhu!
Shub Niggurath, Glaaki, Azathoth, Iä
Oh Cthulhu! Oh Cthulhu!
Nyarlathotep, Yog Sothoth, Tsathoggua

2.
Soon the Star-Spawn went to war
And it spilled much slime and gore
When their shoggoths did revolt
Elder Things looked pretty old

3.
Elder Things they faced defeat
Underground they did retreat
Those the shoggoths did not kill
I presume they hide there still

4.
But the victors' joy was brief
And the Star-Spawn came to grief
In the sky appeared a sign
Heralding their life's decline

5.
Through the ether sounds a cry
"Stars are wrong and we must die
Seek a tomb beneath the flood
And abstain a while from blood."

6.
So the host without delay
Hasted back to dark R'lyeh
There it closed and locked the door
City sank to ocean's floor

7.
Endless eons since then/have since passed
But the time has come at last
The Great Old One will return
See the cultists' fires burn

8.
Fast approaching is the day
That will bring us great dismay
All the sky is turning black
Soon the Star-Spawn will be back

Revenge Song of the Cultists
OT: Le "Ça ira"
Version: Edith Piaf 1953
(after Bécourt and Ladré 1792)
http://edith-piaf.narod.ru/3/Le_Ca_ira.mp3

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Should you know us, then we'll get you!

1.
For endless eons He's been dreaming
Down in His city of R'lyeh
We hope our victims he heard screaming
That in his honour we did slay
Oh, the whole world He'll be enslaving
When he returns, tentacles waving
We hope to live to see that day

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Should you know us, then we'll get you!

2.
For endless eons we have waited
And did from worship never cease
But now our cult place has been raided
By thugs/dogs from New Orleans police
Our sacred idol it was taken
But our resolve will not be shaken
And our revenge it will be fierce

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Inspector Legrasse we will get you!

3.
For endless time the skies were trailing
But now the stars again were right
So towards R'lyeh we were sailing
To see Cthulhu in his pride
But our ship Alert she was boarded
And our designs were rudely thwarted
Our master's will has been defied

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Mate Johansen we will get you!

4.
Now the Great Old Ones is not coming
All our hopes have been in vain
We vow revenge, it will be stunning
Soon our foes will writhe in pain
Those who gained knowledge of our action
Or did prevent His resurrection
Without exception will be slain

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Professor Angell we willl get you!

Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Let those who spy on us be wary
Oh, Cthulhu, Cthulhu, Cthulhu
Should you know us, then we'll get you!
Should you know us, then we'll get you!!!

The Great Cthulhu
OT: La Cucaracha
T/M: Mecixo, 19th century
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=IBE0tV9baBE

Refr.
The Great Cthulhu, the Old Cthulhu
Lies asleep in dark R'lyeh
But he is dreaming
Patiently scheming
For his resurrection day

1.
Spoke a shoggoth to Cthulhu
"Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li!"
Spoke the Old One "I can hear you.
But that's nonsense, don't be silly!"

2.
Old Cthulhu checks his email
Mainly spam and a proposal
Some demented human female
Seeks a new kind of arousal

3.
Deep Ones held a celebration
They sang loud/Loudly sang the Humba-Humba
Old One spoke with indignation
"Why ye guys disturb me slumber?"

4.
To Cthulhu spoke Lord Hastur
"Oh this really is not fitting!
Shub Niggurath's out to pasture.
I must do the babysitting!"

5.
But the day is fast approaching
And the earth already quaking
See the old R'lyeh is broaching
Great Cthulhu is awak(en)ing.

I'll rise with might
OT: We'll meet again
T: Hughie Charles
M: Ross Parker (1939)
(Popular Vera Lynn song)
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=wC5P9PmXM5U
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=cHcunREYzNY

I'll be away for some eons
Strange, endless eons
I must die
Although this parting upsets me
You'll not forget me. Goodbye!

I'll rise with might
When the stars are a-right
And mankind will die of fright
When I return
Keep up my name
Light the flame
Victims maim
Till from blue seas I will rise to slash and burn

But although I'm away
Keep on spreading dismay
And don't tell me you can't!
In my tomb in the deep
Then assured I can sleep
You'll be singing/howling my chant

I'll rise with might
When the stars are a-right
And mankind will die of fright
When I return
Keep up my name
Light the flame
Victims maim
Till from blue seas I will rise to slash and burn

Hill behind Dunwich Town
OT: Rivers of Babylon
T/M: Brent Dowe, Trevor McNaughton
adapted from Psalm 137
Boney M version
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm1g8FFRArc

On the hill behind Dunwich Town
By the old stones
Was where we howled
And tried to summon Yog Sothoth

In the ring of the ancient stones
On Sent'nel Hill
Was where we howled
And tried to summon Yog Sothoth

But the Old One
Needed help to break from captivity
Required from us two sons
And now we will rear the Old's sons
In the Whateley's barn

Cause the Old One
Needed help to break from captivity
He required from us two sons
So now we will rear the Old's sons
In the Whateley's barn

So hear the chants from our mouth
Let our Lavinia's virgin womb
Be receptacle of your pride
This May Night

So hear the chants from our mouth
May this feeble albino girl
Be acceptable as your bride
This May Night

On the hill behind Dunwich Town
By the old stones
Was where we howled
And tried to summon Yog Sothoth

In the ring of the ancient stones
On Sent'nel Hill
Was where we howled
And tried to summon Yog Sothoth
