I'm starting this thread in order to use it as a vehicle for small topics. In other words, quick comments, or subjects that really don't merit an entire thread all by themselves.

I changed my avatar. Since I get to sit here and stare at my avatar whenever I'm in this site I thought I may as well make it something truly worth staring at.

Yarrr, Depp.

Yesterday, I was at the local motorcycle shop, and the guy working there was pretty much a dead ringer for Johnny Depp in "Crybaby". A little bit more square of jaw, and...except blue eyes. His name is Speedy. (Ok, he's been called Speedy since he was a kid.) You really need to move here. We can go learn to work on bikes. ;)

I've heard that he is finally taking himself off the market and marrying "her"  :'(  anyway I read where he was talking about his children and how they take walks and stop by the garden to see how the tomatos are growing ... now that is pirate dad hot!

I finally got a new monitor.  I've been living in darkness for a long time now.

Now that I can see properly, well done on the theme here!  It looks much less gloomy than on my old monitor.  And nice avatars, people!

;D

I found a great new site called Democrats For Torture. Unfortunately it's still under construction, but I can hardly wait until they get the Kid's Corner up and running!  :D

Reminds me of the old "Families for bombing them now" spoof group from the 80s. Think I might still be a honorary member of that...
