well, after some issues (I posted elsewhere details) I finally got logged in.

However I do not seem to be able to change either signature or avitar/pic.  Hmmm.

I had trouble with the first post editor I selected, and I am trying a second one - seems to have fewer issues with FireFox browser, so far

Edit:  obviously, I found the "profile" button - I was looking at the navigation bar on the left <heh>

And this editor seems to work okay with FireFox - at least it doesn't keep popping up the "FIND" bar whenever I try to type ' or / characters ...

It was mostly a matter of locating the appropriate buttons and clicking them
