Disgusting.  I'm pro-sustenance hunting, by which I mean a person with a rifle making a clean kill with the primary intent of getting meat.  I could even, if I really stretched to embrace the "sporting" aspect of hunting in some way fathom (definitely not condone, but at least understand to some degree) the desire to track, hunt and kill a wolf on foot with a rifle (very ick, but at least it's somewhat 'fair') or better yet a bow, but where is the "sport" in running down any animal with an airplane and blasting away at it with a shotgun just to see it die?  Nasty, nasty, nasty.

Wolves are beautiful creatures, and unmistakable if you see them in the wild (I've only ever seen two, and fleeting glimpses at that).  Which is besides the point - no animal deserves this.  Some humans might....
