Most people are creatures of habbit.
Is there any foodstuff you are mor or less addicted to?

To me it's orange juice, if I don't get my orange juice in the morning I simply won't wake up properly. :D
And It's not all about the fruit sugar (my loving SO did the shopping for me and brought home some juice with tangerine, apple and something more, it wasn't such a hit) for me it's about the orange taste.

I also have garlic cravings :o .But not for breakfast and not every day.

Tea. Can't get enough tea into my system. And cheese. LOVE cheese....

As for the rest, there are things that I really enjoy, but tea and cheese are necessary for continuing existence.

good stuff- it's sad that some won't because of it fragrance(ok it's stinky!) but when I smell it my mouth waters

We have two orangutans at our zoo( where I volunteer) and I got a hold of several last year- can't get them often alas--- but shared one with them and Juara just looked at me like, "this is a bit smelly and what do I do with it" but Roc- he went gonzo- he knew as soon as he smelled it what was coming and now everytime he sees me he's like-- Ok? where is it!

Cheese. Ever since I was knee high. When I lived on my own I ate 3 to 4 pounds a week. Now, I probably only eat 3 to 4 pounds a week.  ;)
I have a very peculiar diet, high protein, very low carbs, fat more or less irrelevant. On average three lunches a week will consist of a slab of chease (8 oz to 12 oz.) and a litre of San Pellegrino.
If we run out of slab cheese at home, I will often pour grated cheese (we keep a selection in for cooking) into a cereal bowl, add mayo, stir, and eat.
Cheese is my preferred snack (often with grape or cherry tomatoes).

Salt. I put it one everything from french bread and steak to honey dew.

Coffee. I can survive fine without it, if need be, but I miss it.

Coco. I generally make my own chocolate sauce for ice cream and chocolate milk. I get a little irritable if we haven't got any or it some one offers me Ovaltine or some such abomination instead.

Salsa, during the summer months. I eat it for lunch regularly.

Mero- have you ever had a bowl of grated sharp cheddar and grated carrots? It's heaven.

My other fave treat is yogurt with maple syrup. Drool, drool!

Cheese, chocolate (the darker the better)...

Meat. I am a carnivore. It's also one of the things I MUST eat (high protein to function with this illness) and I love sausage (almost any kind) and beef, lamb, chicken, fish, heck, bunnies and just about any other critter that's meaty!! Add a little onion and garlic as it cooks, roll it up in a tortilla with some cheese...MMMM, that's good eatin'!!

I'm losing the ability to eat some things, thanks to the carcinoid (and the half-a-stomach thing)--most tomato products are iffy now--but I WILL eat what I please and suffer for it if needed.

Oh, baked goods, a must--have periodically. Multi-grain breads especially. Hard to find GOOD ones, but...

CAKE!!!

For a while, I thought I was going to have to be on the carcinoid patient's "all white diet"--white chicken, bread or rice--totally bland. Makes me IMMEDIATELY go eat carne guisada!!

Good ice cream.

Can't eat much at any given moment, but I'm supposed to eat every 3 to 4 hours. (HA!)

Caffeine, sweet things (specially condensed milk) and bread/cake. I crave carbs which makes dieting extremely difficult and triggers depression.

Oh, and of course cheese!
