....were ridiculously cheap ($2.99/case) so now we have ridiculous amounts of them.

Any recommendations?  ???

I like them fresh, but they are so seedy...

We used to make jelly.

They work (seeded) in smoothies and shakes.

The pulp cooks down to make a nice sauce for desserts. Aunt Jean used to serve it over rice pudding. :eeksign: (We hateses teh rice puddings.)

And, the pulp is used in margaritas just as a matter of curiosity (and coloration, if you've got some deep garnet ones.).

Probably the best way to seed 'em is pass them through a sieve, eh?

anthrobabe

sieve them--

jelly and fresh are my real experience with them however I assume they will work like any other juicy with lots of small edible seeded fruit.

If you want to do jelly you can mix the juice with any other fruit juice as well and make mixed flavor or put some hot peppers in there---- muy rico

I recommend making a syrup by adding lots of sugar some cinnamon and mint.  Reduce it and filter out the seeds and such.  Use the syrup for Prickly Pear Margaritas.
