Why does topic drift here almost always get around to Monty Python?

Well.... I think the sort of people that this site attracts long enough to stick around, are also the sort who appreciate the types and varieties of humor that MPFC produced.

Or it could simply be, that most of us are of the age, that remember when MPFC was in it's heyday, and have a bit'o nostalgia for it, as a kind of "lost art".

Or?  It might be because everyone here thinks it's funny?  But MPFC references are both funny, and represent a kind of inside joke that everyone gets?   Which adds a bit more "flavor" to teh funny?
