There have been quite a few armchair diagnoses lately, regarding McCain's twitches, grimaces, eye-rolling, and other odd body movements, as well as his odd phrases ("my fellow prisoners"). The guesses range from age to undealt-with PTSD, to sublimated emotions, to reactions to long-term medications for pain.

I'm taking cautious heart at some of the *true* conservative voices (not neo-con demagogues or pot-stirrers) which are endorsing Obama.
