Hi-ho.

I don't know where to post this, but I think it's kinda neat, so I'll start a random photo thread.

We just found this big (4 inch long) moth sitting on the concrete floor near a basement. I looked him up, and I think he's a Citheronia regalis, or Regal moth.

My neighbors across the street have all ready put up their holiday yard display. It is a riot of lights (which actually are pretty, but I love lights) and this inflatable snowman in camo holding a gun. At night his right boot lights up, but nothing else. Winds have knocked him over and now he looks like he's doing push-ups. Either that or he's drunk on a hunt and has passed out, in which case I hope someone takes his gun away before he shoots his carrot off. I had to sneak over today while they were away to snatch this photograph.
