Ana Silvera

I noticed Ana is singing in

New York - Rockwood Music Hall 4 Feb '09

and

Austin, Texas in March during the SXSW Week in March '09.

She has the Austin date listed as 17th March but the SXSW site says the Music part starts on the 18th, so I don't know which date is right, or perhaps she is in the Interactive.

She usually sings in intimate settings - cosy soho jazz clubs et al - and her performance really moved me when I saw her a few years ago.


For those of you unable to be in New York or Austin   you can hear a few of her songs and lyrics in her MySpace. My fave is All the King's Horses - I like her version of the lyrics - but the most hanuting for me (personal stuff) is Song for Daniel.  She also has her own webiste Ana Silvera where she also writes interesting stuff and links to even more.

She lived in Berlin for a while. Swato may have heard her if he goes to the sorts of places
