Title: Choir of Young Believers - Hollow Talk
Post by: Griffin NoName on July 16, 2012, 04:31:50 AM
This was used as the theme tune to "The Bridge" - great Danish TV drama - we are getting lots of excellent stuff from Scandanavia.

For ages I couldn't work out what language was being used in the song. I'd catch the odd English word here and there.

Luckily Youtube helped out. There's a video with the words.

Try listening with your eyes shut to see how many English words you can spot. Then play it again, reading the words on screen.

By the way, I really like the music and lyrics.

The lyrics are also written underneath the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0zvlxcmg7A&feature=fvwrel

Interesting find, Griffin.  The tune is compelling, if a bit haunting.

I managed to recognise most of the lyrics without reading. Really great song there. Thanks for introducing it to me. I've been catching up on a lot of Danish TV recently, and can't wait to watch this. Looks like Forbrydelsen, but a little different.
