There is that old waterhose alphorn too (different artist). Much more convenient when practicing while driving a car.

Linsey Pollak plays "Mr Curly" (a contra bass clarinet made from garden hose) from his show "Passing Wind" as well as the feather duster clarinet.

I first saw PDQ Bach on The Mike Douglas Show when I was just a kid; I was utterly enchanted to see grown ups doing such silly and wonderful things, and having a great time in the process.

IIRC he was whirling an accordianated vacuum cleaner hose above his head like a lariat to create some really interesting sounds...
