Expected to cost $194k, according to CNN, not including tax, license or insurance. 

All you need is a 20 hour sport license (visual flight rules only, 1 passenger only, max airframe weight restrictions, etc)

If year 2010 had looked in reality as it looked in the fantasy of writers and artists in the 50's we would all have a flying car by now!

You think the average person's driving on the roads is dangerous?  Imagine 100 air cars landing in a small suburban street at 6pm.
And what does the pilot do if there isn't a parking space?

With this thing you have to land in an airfield with a relatively short runaway, this isn't a VTOL (like Möller's). Completely outside of my budget but it wouldn't be surprising if a few years from now you could get it for less than $50K. This thing would allow commutes of 400 miles making it possible for people to live in one city and work in another. Definitively not for everybody but interesting nonetheless.
