Title: What Lewis Carroll character does Mitch McConnell resemble the most?

I assume most of you are familiar with Lewis Carroll's Alice books and their classic illustrations.
Then there is the senate minority leader Mitch McConnell. Seeing that guy I immediately thought he resembled one of the footmen from Alice in Wonderland (in German they are known as 'The Lackey with the Frog/Fish Face' resp.).
Do you think so too? If yes, which one is closer?

Any other hidden Alice characters in politics these days?

Are we talking about turtle face? In fact he is the tortoise from "What the Tortoise Said to Achilles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_the_Tortoise_Said_to_Achilles)".

I was thinking more about looks but I also think that McConnell logic is simply faulty while Mr.Tortoise uses his higher intellect to fool around* with Mr.Achilles. I.e. the tortoise is master through use of (faulty) logic to outmaneuvre his opponent. McConnell impresses no one with 'logic', least of all his own. He just parrots talking points produced by others. He at best serves as footman of the Red Queen (OK, different books).
Btw, I came to this specific Carroll item through Hofstadter's 'Gödel Escher Bach'.

Yes, he rather does. (I include two photos, below.)

In looking for the Mitchypoo photo, I ran across a website that believes he looks like the monster in 'Pan's Labyrinth', (http://randomoverload.com/mitch-mcconnell-totally-looks-like-%E2%80%9Cpan%E2%80%99s-labyrinth%E2%80%9D-monster) which indeed he does.

He also looks like that fish pilot guy from one of the Star Wars movies. Or was it Star Trek? (Carp. looks like I'm not quite as nerdy as I had previously hoped.)

I agree about the Pale Man (from Pan).
Clearly some kind of fish or amphib in his (close) ancestry.

You just lost nerd creed with that, Admiral Ackbar from Mon Calamari is from StarWars (and a fictional cephalopod no less!). Shame!
:P ;)
