I got an email from my brother this morning. He's going to the International Blackhawk Helicopter's User's Conference this week. Makes me think of some small time dictator of a third world country.


Now I think I know what he's been up to since he retired a few years ago...........maybe.

Q would be more inquisitive and personable than they really want for pages. A Congressperson years age said they wanted pliant young men that would "be at ease with some unusual tasks." Back then it meant delivering messages to the Congressman's girlfriend. I don't wanna think about what it means now... 

I think I agree- from what I've seen not too much gets by Q, I don't think Q would be good prey at all.

Having read up on the cognitive abilities of some Congresscritters...the fact that he's smarter, already better educated and a more thourough thinker that a good number of them might be disturbing to them.

I've spent a LOT of time info-surfing the members of Congress the last few days. My brain hurts.

The Quill Awards were given out last night in NYC.

Just to let you all know, Bobby did not win.

The humor category was awarded to:
Don't Make a Black Woman Take off Her Earrings: Madea's Uninhibited Commentaries on Love and Life
by Tyler Perry.

Also, Chatty, if you are back, Meat Loaf is going to perform a mini concert tomorrow morning on The Today Show on NBC to celebrate the release of his new CD on Halloween, Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Unleashed.

Edit:  Mea Culpa, a friend just told me that the awards ceremony took place two weeks ago, back on Oct. 10th, but that it will be televised this Saturday on NBC.  Maybe Bobby can be spotted when they announce the nominees in the humor category.
