Reading winnie the pooh. I am Eyore without a doubt. But it just would end up that way wouldn't it. I suppose it was the best I could expect and I doubt if it is likely to change :D
so who are you... if you need inspiration read the books. they are a delight (of sorts... if anything can be called that nowadays)
or read the tao and the te (of Pooh and Piglet - they get all the attention whilst the rest of us do all the work and never complain to anybody)
If you think some character from elsewhere really fits the A N OTHER button awaits.
PS. THIS IS PROPER WtP NOT THAT DISNEY TRAVESTY!!!
A N Other not in Winnie the Pooh at all.
I fear I would ALWAYS go into Mr McGregor's garden.
flopsy?
mopsy??
cottontail???
or could you be peter?
Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, who were good little bunnies, went down the lane to gather blackberries
I dunno though... perhaps we need another poll
blackberries v carrots and cabbage
or even...
free safe blackberries v carrots and cabbage and the possibility of death
peter may have been more interesting and brave but he may also qualify as having poor taste and being thick!
neither of these qualities strike me as being yours.

Go see "Shoot 'Em Up" and you will vote for carrots... :)
TI double G RRRRR
(wanna see my tattoo?) (yes it is PG)
I agree- proper WtP not the disneyfied version.
I like blackberries,cabbage and carrots!
Another Tigger, here. I tend to bounce around and be annoyingly cheerful most of the time. On crummier days I border on Rabbit, a bit cantankerous and fussy.
Agree about Disney. I'm raising my kid on the classic Pooh.
PS: My nickname was Pooh when I was Very Young. Probably had to do with the state of my diapers.
Dougal from the Magic Roundabout is my role model, but it sort of comes out as Eeyore.
I'm afraid I'm not like a WtP character, though if you get me started a bit of Owl comes out.
Rabbit, with a bit of Roo.
Hmm... we should try this with the Alice books next (again, not Disney!).
not convinced that dougal and eyore are similar. Still waiting for Pachyderm to turn up and be a Heffalump!

Being incredibly interesting and brave only comes about by assuming one's parents always tell porkies when warning of bad things to come..... test/veryify/test/verify.... not thick at all..... you think all scientists are
thick? ::)

Inside every Eeyore is a Dougal waiting to get out ;D

not convinced that dougal and eyore are similar.
They're both stoical pessimists, it's just Dougal leavens it with the occasional sarcastic comment.
Actually I missed out Cartman and Daffy Duck as influences.

What, sort of like "Alien"?

Orwellian (http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/g/georgeorwe384190.html) ;D
Marvin the robot in the original TV version of "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" was very Eeyore, as well.
I can totally relate to Daffy Duck's general energetic exasperation.
In Alice In Wonderland I used to be the March Hare but am mellowing into more of a Cheshire Cat these days.
I don't think I match any of them very well.
I have a bit of a lot of them some Eeyore, Kanga, and Owl and on really :catroll: days even some Pooh. ;)
I actually was a character in WtP.
We did it as a school play, in Lagos. I was a skunk (voted A N Other) whose sole contibution was to run to the centre of the stage, turn to the audience (it's not so scary when it's your mates parents...) and Scream "THEY'RE COMING!" at the loudest volume I could muster. (They were Kanga and Roo, for the uninititiated). Great fun.
However, make up took three hours. Mainly because I could not sit still, and had the attention span of a stunned mullet. Also, I was a little white boy. Most of a skunk is black. My Nigerian classmate was a white rabbit. He was in make up for three hours as well....
We were sure you were an heffalump.
I played Rabbit in a musical version of WtP while in college.
I'm a heffalump now... ;D
if a heffalump turns up here i shall simply say "ho hum" and tiell him the trap set by heffalumps for eyores is actually a trap set by wyores for heffalumps.
Just don't put any of Roo's medicine in that trap or you might catch a Tigger by mistake.
I shall defeat your trap by wearing earplugs....
Thats just the sort of thing a heffalump would do
But the heffalumps's nose could still detect haycorns.
I'll make sure I have a cold. And wear dark glasses so I can't see the haycorns, either.
Pachy is shaping up nicely ;D
In the late 60's and the 70's I was Tigger. My small brother said I was...
I later became Kanga.
Now, i may just be a Woozle.
Eeyore 30% (depression hits me a bit more than most , i think).
Tigger 35% ( I am a regular pyrate poster after all)
Christopher Robin 30% ( I have been known to be sensible and had a yellow rain slick once).
5% unknown ..........
