I was confusing COREL with ADOBE.  What I get for knee-jerking a too-quick response! **icon with egg all over face**

Alas, it is now toast.  Been gobbled up by the ^NOT-EVIL Corel empire-- which I steadfastly REFUSE to have anything to do with.    (I just checked for updates, etc)

Their website is dead: http://www.jasc.com/ , it takes you to the ^NOT-EVIL corel website. *bleah*

You can still get Paint Shop Pro 8.0 at Amazon, probably used-- google had several links for JASC software (the original owners).

It appears the site www.JASCSOFTWARE.com is completely dead, the link is reported as expired.

*sigh*

If you look, you might be able to find an old copy of Animation Shop 3.0 (the version I used) on line for free, seeing as how the company is dead.

(I HATE monopolies!  Where will it END? Now, one of the main competitors to ^not-EVIL COREL is defunct, what recourse does a discerning consumer have? *bleah* )

Oh, I have Paint Shop Pro 10...  does that help?  I haven't explored it much to see if it had animation capabilities.

It came 'free' with my new printer*.  Not a bad deal since the printer (lil' Samsung laser jet) was only $80.
