I know that I am getting old a wee bit soon. I get totally sleepy a certain time after meals for some time  now (but not after the last meal of the day) but without being able to actually sleep. It's getting unconscious for a few seconds at a time and needing about twice that time to be "fully there" again. The only countermeasure is to do something manually (playing a computer game, yes; reading or watching a movie, no).
