I am obviously dyslexic too, confusing 47 and 74 (see above). Fortunately it was not while shopping for Kalashnikov ammo.

I used to play the guitar.

Then I chopped my left-forefinger nearly off, and part of my left thumb nearly off.   Nearly.  They re-stitched'em both back-- badly.   The finger's first joint up from the base of the hand is non-functional (pretty much). The last joint is only about 30% functional.  Thus, that finger won't curl around the guitar neck.  As for the thumb, it's only joint is worse than either of the finger's, so it's sorta-straight-out. 

Idiot surgeon.  Was worried about LOOKS and NOTHING SAID for UTILITY.   (hates'em, all....ivory tower idiots...)  Had _I_ been consulted, BOTH finger AND thumb would've been permanently bent at an angle.  The thumb especially---

Try it:  use either hand to pick up literally ANYTHING.  The times your thumb is STRAIGHT versus when it's BENT?  At LEAST 1000-to-1 bent.  And the few times it's straight, you can roll/rotate your thumb a bit and it works ANYWAY.   Just TRY to pick up something with a bit'o'weight and keep your thumb STRAIGHT.  You'll be droppin' it straight-away.
