Okay, a chocolate chess board.

How about one made entirely of cheese?

I couldn't find one of those, but I did find this chess set cookie cutter where you can bake your own edible chess set out of cookie/biscuit dough.

Vanilla ones for the white pieces, chocolate (natch) for the black ones.

If you opt for the more traditional white and red, you could go with vanilla and strawberry I suppose.
