During the day it is antacids

One slight problem is that the inhibitors (both types) are prescription drugs and the docs over here have a limited budget for prescriptions (if that runs out, usually in the last third of the quarter, they have to pay it out of their own pocket). I am already on blood pressure pills and got the last batch of ranitidin from the doc's sample cabinet. No fresh ones before April. Last gastroscopy was in late November btw. Chronic gastritis + reflux into the esophagus (no news there).
That attack in November made me switch from black/green tea to chamomile (no caffeine for me for the time being).
At least I know that one can live without a stomach for decades (as my maternal grandma did. It was the osteoporosis that in the end finished her off, not the digestive tract)

Punctuation in English is a sevenfold sealed book to me and there are differences between AE and BE.
e.g.: '"blablabla," he said' is the mandatory AE form
while '"blablabla", he said' is the correct (and far more logical) BE form

What can I say?  The topic of conversation drifted from bankrupt, corrupt, fundamentalist readership to medical to game-rules to lessons in the differences between British English and Murikin.   Did I say "Murikin?" That subtext of English properly has no punctuation at all, as Quert correctly pointed out.
