He went from part time monk/part time drag queen to full time TG surgery patient (interesting how an archdioscese 'west of Texas' was such good help with his bills) and from there to beauty school, to hairdressing, hooking part time (and hanging at gay bars when not hooking) to becoming lesbian, then radical lesbian (hairdressing is for silly femmes) and became a mechanic.

As she said the last time we talked, "I finally got all macho, just like my Dad. But I still look and sound like my Mom." She's lead mechanic at the Rolls/Bentley dealership in Houston, and is made to wear long sleeves to hide her tattoos. But, she is happy, and plays Grandmum to her partner's 9 grandchildren.

The Catholic Church has used the same rural part of New Mexico to 'retire' sexually abusive priests (also to domicile and purportedly treat them) for years. Both of her parents were employees of various Catholic organizations for decades...

Once, in a drunken fit of TMI and honesty, he (at that time) complained that he'd been through three 'reparative' surgeries by the time he was 16, the first one at age 7.  Later on, he said that his parents had signed confidentiality agreements that provided them with permanent jobs and a decent retirement, so all his economic pressure had to be based on events after he turned 17 and left home.

Me, I'd be the one with a couple of loaded Uzi's...

We chatted this evening. Their (partner's biologically) youngest daughter has been accepted into medical school! She's un-freezing some 'frozen assets' to help with tuition...and made her usual "how many gold candlesticks will THAT cost" crack. Strong person.
