• Apparently the LPW is not a good idea of you are diabetic; Sorry DD, I'm sure it is something that would appeal to you.

I wish just the newspapers that publish cryptic crosswords would publish a beginner's guide to them once in a while.  I look at them, think they might be interesting, but move on because I don't know how the thing works.
