Kiyoodle the Gambrinous

I hate silence.

Can't concentrate without any sounds around me...

I can only work with music in the background, if I know the piece by heart and can blank it out mentally (in that case it might even improve work). Vocal music or, worse, spoken text is not an option, if I have to think.
Working at the computer is never completely silent (typing, ventilation etc.)

I need music to work properly...

I go crazy when no music around, no matter which, I would even survive German Volksmusik...

I find silence relaxing. I actually need it every so often, or I start to stress out a little.

Silence is relaxing for me except in the presence of heat. When it's hot, everything constant is oppressive. That includes silence. Music is varied, so it helps.

I like both.  To work (esp studying), I'm best with the same conditions as Swato...  well-known stuff, or non-vocal.  Classical, hard punk or some electronic stuff works well.

Not a fan of total silence except for sleeping - even when out in nature, there is always sound, and I like the subtleness of natural sound.  At home, there is so much bloody background noise from traffic that it's best to have music going to mask it, if not in conversation.

Better don't go there! Once it gets "tümlich", it's deadly

Volksmusik can certainly be deadly...

Although when drunk, I can dance like insane to it... :P

They could have at least used an actual salmon for the video animation.

I don't know why, but I watched that whole video. And I'm about to watch it again.
