I had a wee injection of Demerol at the doctors this afternoon

Freaking LIAR--- it hurt, boy did it hurt(not the shot) and I'm not a baby- I give blood and such without a flinch

My favorite fun poking-stuff-in-me moment was when they were taking a blood sample at the hospital. It wasn't while I was hospitalized, but for one of the follow-up blood tests, so one of the people there was clearly a newbie.

She shoves the needle in my vein - okay, great, used to it by then. But she's apparently not satisfied with the flow, and so she begins wiggling it. It didn't hurt, per se, but it was a profoundly disturbing sensation to feel the tip scraping against the walls of my blood vessel.
