Reminds me of a cartoon of a thug who comes to the blood donation with beaten-up people lying behind him. The medic explains to him that they prefer it, if people donate their own, not other people's.

Getting blood out of me took three people last week. Even then it was barely enough to test. The nurses hide when they see me coming. Sometimes I wonder if I had bigger better veins, would I have more energy?

Hm, Freud (ol' Siggi) actually proposed cocaine as an anti-addictive. I think this is slightly controversial but why should we listen to some pesky "real" scientists, if an authority like ol'Siggi says otherwise.

My cancer surgeon, an ex-smoker, says tobacco is more addictive than heroin. I must ask him if cancer is addictive.

heroin was marketed as a non-addictive opioid (and if applied the right way it actually is, I have heard). I think there are a number of highly addictive but basically harmless things around and really dangerous stuff that takes a long time to get addicted too (but then is almost impossible to reverse).

Cancer is probably more aptly described as persisting.

What I've heard, cigarettes are more addictive than heroin.

Never tried the later, but I know it's pretty difficult to get rid of the cigarettes.

Do not drink or inject your tobacco. That is lethal. Actually more lethal than cyanide.
