That would be an amusing one to spring on the French at a summit. Tell them the revolution has been rescinded.

But who gets the job? Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK etc have all got contenders (or should that be pretenders). Better dust off the Sallic Laws and have another read through.

A bit too late, Kong Olav V. died a few years ago. Kong Harald has not yet given a statement to my knowledge on becoming king of Europe.

Although not anti-EU myself, I think it was a wise choice for Norway to stay out. I think the demands by France and Spain for free unregulated fishing in Norwegian waters were the tipping point.
