I may well catch it. I'm having my hip replaced later today and then going to respite care in a care home for the time I won't be able to look after myself. I'm treating it as a summer holiday. But care homes are Covid death traps. I have no hip joint left on the left side so to say it has been extremely painful is an understatement.

So I have a new hip, as of some 10 hours ago. The awful unbearable pain has gone, although there's a different pain from the op. but manageable with strong pain killers.

I wonder if your ommision mentioning actually caused it go well? We may control the world but we may not know how. Of course Ego may say otherwise.

The funeral was this Tuesday and it went as perfect as such a thing can go.
The cemetery got partially redesigned recently and the urn got entombed in the new 'Scandinavian' section.
Very apt since we have (or now: had) a long tradition of vacationing in Scandinavia.
