Neither have I (not even a simple mobile).
Unfortunately, sooner or later I will have to acquire one. Not for use as a phone but because more and more things require one (e.g. all rent-a-bike services around here).

I rarely use any telephone (and even less so since emails became the standard form of communication).

Yeah, I don't get the point of FaceTime when you can have face time....  long distance family being the big exception. I occasionally skype on the computer with my sister's kids. They're too small to have much of a phone conversation with.

I do have a mobile... a friend gave me one of my favorite past phones again, a Samsung slider with a proper QWERTY button-keyboard. Text is handy enough, and the phone's still enough of a chore to use that it's not too handy. Other than that I'd be relegated to a crappy flip phone, none of which come close to the old Motorola I used to have (and would probably still use if it worked on the current networks).

I also fear I'll have to get a smartphone at some point, at least for work-related things as smart homes become ubiquitous and setting such nonsense up requires using the relevant apps.
