I am working on a German translation first to get a better feeling for the task. Currently doing chapter 4.
Latin will be easier in some aspects since the English -ing forms/constructions translate often directly into Latin participia coniuncta while in German one has to do turn them into full subclauses. The main problem will be the modern vocabulary. Short Englich words turn into longer German ones but into whole constructs in Latin. E.g. prom = Abschlußball = ballatio scholae finiendae (or ad scholam finiendam or scholae finitae occasione?).
